I have used these as my ‘go to’ pant while leading Aurora tours in Fairbanks Alaska. I layer with Kuhl’s Akkomplice base layer, and I am comfortable at temps of -20 F for hours at a time. Absolutely a brilliant pant! They are rugged, don’t bunch or bind, and keep me warm in the sub-zero temps of the arctic.

I work seasonally in Alaska and the later months can get very cold and wet. My job demands a lot of physical activity and I try to stay active outside of work as well and this extra layer really helps with that. I used to shy away from underlayers because of overheating but this material breathes so well that I even wear them to bed sometimes….

Great base layer that is velvety soft while wicking and warming. A must have for any winter excursions.

Used a couple times in Bar Harbor, ME for sea kayaking. Quick drying and warm when wet. Not sure about durability, but haven’t been disappointed by Kuhl in the past.
